Assassination refers to the killing of a prominent personality. Here, the Holika is an eminent character in the Hindu mythology whose own arrogance and brainlessness became the cause of her death. Similarly, the solders in Syria are the puppets of the government, which is a dictatorship in this case. While saying assassination, I also want to convey that assassination of a person cannot just be physical but also at the internal level i.e. the person's soul.
As they say history repeats itself here the old myths of Holika have proved to be true again only that this time the monster is disguised as the tyrants of Syria. I wish that the assassination this time would not kill the person but the devil inside him.
Holika: The monstrous personality was a tyrant just like the Syrian torture groups just as Holika try to burn the little kid Prahlad a similar situation had aroused in Syria. In the past Holika had burnt herself in attempt to hurt Prahlad, here metaphorically I have used a pun in connecting Holika to the army on one hand just like Holika the army was constantly burning itself releasing away there soul, there goodness and above all humanity; on the other hand, I wish that by the end of the story the solders burn away their hatred and violence that is embedded in their soles.
